I've been through two aqueon heaters in the past year. The first quite working after a few months and the most recent is flashing its red light. What is a good brand to use for my 29 and 55g tanks?

In my opinion, 1) Jager. 2) Finnex (with digital display).

The Aqueons are crap.

see what Premier aquatics sells. They have real world experience with that stuff, so he will know what works. Remember we need to support these guys, the LFS

Ehiem Jager is simply the best heater on the market. Also if you do purchase in-store then you get a 5 year replacement warranty on them. Direct swap replacement no questions asked.

EJ is the most solid heater we've used hands down.

5 Year replacement?! Wow.

Yup! The box says 3 years, but we give 5 years on it. Literally you can walk out with it, smash it in the parking lot, walk back in and get a brand new one no questions asked.
