View Full Version : Looking for an easy, plug in, inexpensive 65k light

Exactly that; I have a row of betta tanks that need a bulb/lit section 22-24 inches long in order to cover all four aquariums. It just needs to be cool light, long enough, plugs into an outlet, and is inexpensive. The most that gets grown in there is anubias, java fern+moss, and crypts so all I really need is something that makes the fish show up. Petsmart and even petco are often so grossly overpriced...

You can get cheap shop lights or under cabinet lights at home depot or Lowe's or other stores like that. Cheap T12 bulb lights will grow most of that. Only one I'm not sure about are the crypts. They have leds too,a fraction of pet store prices. Costco and Sam's carry them too sometimes

Agree. I like the T5 undercabinet lights.
