have a 20 G that is plagued by camallanus worms. Every time we think we've won, another fish shows them. Tonight I took the tank back to bare bottom, pitching the plants and removing the substrate and redosed with Prazi. My questions are: 1) can pond snail harbor camallanus worms? Cause they haven't died with the Prazi and the 6 remaining surviving fish all have the worms now. 2) Also, can the worms hide in the sponge filter? 3) got any good tips for getting rid of these devils? Help!!!!!

I don't think prazi is lethal enough. The time got that worm was from a well known LFS from a guppy 4 years ago, I used levamisole with good success. I have some I got a year or so ago given that there was a shortage 2 or 3 years ago. Txt me if you want some.

Ditto. Levamisole was the only thing that worked for me in an outbreak with some angels and discus...plenty of aeration too. Had to run it the full course of treatment -a week i think it was - to get the whole life cycle gone.
