My king tiger pleco is very shy. Just looking to know the sex might want to add a mate.

Hard to tell by the pictures. How large is it? Adult males have odontodes growing around the head and front edge of the pectoral fins. Also the females are wider in the girth than males. Males have a more arrow shaped head than females whose heads tend to be more rounded. But the odontodes are the best way to sex them.

Had a hard them getting those lol. The pleco is maybe 2 the 3 inches if that he or she is not big at all. I will try again. From those pictures it maybe a she. But thank you very much.

2 to 3 inches is probably still too small to sex a L66.

Will be hard to give a 100% ID on juveniles, but it's possible to make an educated guess.

We'll need to see a picture of the fish's profile either from the top or bottom as well as a close up picture of the side of his/her head to check the odontodes

Thank u very much. I will just play the waiting game.(too come out or grow a little) lol. Wanted to add a mate so I will not rush it.
