Got in a picture taking mood last night. Hope you all like my various pictures. The following is a Neolamprologus Buescheri Kachese, Neolamprologus Compressiceps Sumbu Dwarf, Mpimbwe Frontosa and some Cherry Red Shrimp (look closely at the shrimp and you can see the males and juveniles).

The fish look really nice! I'm curious, are you keeping the shrimp with the Africans?

Thanks Sam. I originally kept the Shrimp in with really small fry of my Africans, but I was not seeing my colony grow. About 2-3 months back, I put the shrimp in their own 20 gallon (only thing in that tank are baby bristlenose and snails) and the population has exploded. I am pretty sure the fry were being very well fed.

I am a huge frontosa fan, they're my number one choice for a big tank.

Hehe, good for the fry!

Do you have a full tank shot of the shrimp tank? Curious to see how you have it set up.

Don't have one at the moment. It currently isn't a display tank at all. Bare bottom with a sponge filter and roughly filled on 1 side with Java Moss. The cave I put in the tank last night from another tank where I have a huge algae problem. The shrimp love the algae so I am torn about fighting it. I will typically "harvest" significant amounts of the algae and feed it to the shrimp. They LOVE it and swarm to it. That's really what drove me to take the picture.

Aha, so that's where Rick's Mpimbwe are! Glad they didn't go far :)
