According to your forums... you guys have a hard time finding cichlids up there? You guys would certainly find a nice supply at our spring auction!




In your old world cichlids subforum, you include Riverine and Asians. It might be easier to combine those with the New World as soft water cichlids, or create a third section. Aside from being on the same side of the Atlantic Ocean, those fish have nothing in common with the Rift Lakes species.

Old world cichlids actually includes any cichlid from Africa, including riverine. Unsure how Asian cichlids are classified, but I know new world supposedly only includes the Americas. They are not the ones who defined those classifications.

True, but I suppose my issue is that I don't see a point to classifying cichlids by which side of the Atlantic they come from in this day and age.
