View Full Version : Advice on Breeding Synodontis Petricola

I am getting eggs that are hatching from my S. Petricola but the fry/eggs are dying very quickly. First couple of attempts failed with the eggs fungusing, next attempts I used Meth Blue to prevent the fungus and I saw wigglers (saw the wigglers last night) and the wigglers were dead this morning. What did I do wrong or what do I need to do next?

I did not feed the wigglers, I left them in the Meth Blue water (when should I get rid of that), I had an airstone on the container which was floating in a tank to maintain temperature. Eggs were in water from the main tank with Meth blue added. Could the air be on "to High" making the current to violent for the wigglers?

I think I mentioned everything I did. If anyone has any advice, I would love to hear it.

Thank you all.
