I am becoming increasingly interested in the Chattahoochee river watershed. Is it possible to request a topic for a speaker or theme for a meeting?
Thank you for your consideration.

Of course it is! I'm always accepting ideas! While this year is nearing completion on booking ... I have my eyes on some talks for the future (assuming I get re-elected ). I would HIGHLY recommend checking out NANFA and possibly even engage with Michael Wolfe specifically. He gave the club an amazing talk last year about native fish. Amazingly knowledgable and incredibly fun to hear talk. Hope that helps! And hope to see you at the auction!

Get on Michael Wolfe's email list, and he'll notify you of upcoming events. A typical event consists of catching and displaying natives from the local waterway. He is the guru for natives.

Hey y'all,

I have been away from the AAAA for a while but was cruising around here looking for the word 'native'. I can be available for a talk if you want, and have actually given some talks before specific to the Chattahoochee / Flint River system. Another interesting idea for you might be to head over to Autrey Mill Nature Preserve in Johns Creek (that's Chattahoochee drainage). They have a 240 gallon tank that we converted to natives a could of years ago alll with fishes form Johns Creek. Got an email from them recently showing their yellowfin shiners were in breeding colors!
