I am excited about this one. I finally after about two years have baby Neolamprologus sexfasciatus. This is a first for me. The female has been in a cave for about a week so I though maybe... I'm going to leave the babies in for another few days (I want to solidify the pair bond of the parents) but with the risk of losing them. It is a tang. community tank with fish eaters like calvus, S. petrocola, etc. The parents are keeping everyone at bay right now. We will see.

Congrats! Patience is a virtue lol. Just read a little on them. Males seem to be a little homicidal. Congrats on the successful pairing.

Congrats. Those Lamps can be difficult at times. I look forward to the BAP fry. :)

Way to go Ron... these are not easiest to spawn.

Well darn... all gone. I think the Synodontis petrocola were picking them off one at a time. There is also a breeding pair of tetracanthus in the tank. I'm thinking of rearranging things. I'm going to take everything out except the two pair and see what happens next.

The Tetracanthus are mean little things. I would definitely take them out. I have had Cylindercus and bristlenose fry survive with Syno Multipunctatus in the same tank.
