I grew up with a family fish tank. From zebras, goldfish and catfish to Koi in a pond and a Pacu in a tank. I have been keeping my own tank since shortly after I got my own house. I started with a 10 gallon tank. I have rotated fish, some that never belonged in a 10 gallon tank. I moved to a 25 gallon tank last year. I also help with a local Koi pond.

I am currently running the 10 gallon with micro fish and live plants. The 25 gallon has fewer plants and a pair of Gold Ram Cichlids, a few Super Red Bristlenose Plecos, and two Bumble catfish. My recent additions are fake half whiskey barrel that is serving as a quarantine tank and a 34 gallon tank with two Super Red Dragon Flowerhorn fry. They are separated by egg crate light defused and a finer material that allows water flow, but won't let them fight.

Hope to learn from you all and contribute to the community.

Curious about your quarantine tank? Do you have pictures? I always thought its best to have one that you can see the fish from the side?

Yeah, I wanted to do an outside tub or barrel like I saw in a video and decided to put the new fish I just had shipped to me in it. I guess it isn't a true quarantine tank, but I am using it to hold the fish for now. I will upload a photo later. Can't attach a photo from my phone.
