I went on vacation and came back and some my plants have green slime algae. Whats best way to treat or is it best to rid the affected plants?

Sounds like cynobacteria.

Mardel Maracyn (NOT Maracyn TWO), at 1/2 recommended dosage for three days. Contains Erythromycin, which kills the bacteria. You will see most of the slime break up or disappear in 3 days.

Can you get a pic? Treating for cyano will do nothing if it is actually GSA and vice versa.
