I have some African cichlids 2 yellow labs and 2 albino peacocks and they have long thin white to clear poop. They eat fine and are very active. I have no idea why they have it, I feed them green pellet and flake food. If you know what's wrong please let me know.

Does it move? The freakiest poop I ever saw looked like a tapeworm under magnification and balled up when touched (with a tweezers). Try a medicated food something with metronidazole or add the Seachem powder to frozen food.

It's usually an indication of internal parasites. Suspend metro with a little bit of water and soak food in it. Good luck!

I have had demasoni and tropheus get it, it was the start of bloat for them.

Like peter said treat with metro, I have also heard of people using clout to treat though.

good luck
