I have a fully planted 225 gallon aquarium. I noticed that my nice stand of Staurogyne repens was getting smaller every day. The plant is healthy, but leaves indicated that they were being slowly bitten off. The tank is full of tetras of many types. It took a few hours of observation when I finally caught the culprit. The Lamp Eye Tetra! Just an FYI, the Lamp Eye Tetra seems to relish Staurogyne repens but seems to leave all the other plants alone. Now I just need to decide if I want the plant or the fish. Catching a tetra in a 225 gallon planted aquarium isn't the easiest thing to do .

4 months isn't that long. Anyways I was just curious about the outcome. It's like a story with no ending. I want to know the ending. For I had problems with fish eating my garden.
