View Full Version : Hap. bloyetti warning

The fish I have been trading/ selling for the last few months within the club as Haplochromis bloyetti may in fact be Astatotilapia calliptera. This fact has been brought to my attention by a member named "oxheart", who suggested that I should know what I am selling. If anyone wants money back, just PM your address and I will try to rectify this tragic event. I hope no one else is losing sleep over this. If so, I am very sorry.

Nights of sleep. What tragedy could occur next? ;-)

Ron, How could you have made such a mistake? Now looking at pictures on the web, we all know how good they are, it looks like the callip.... have egg spots on their anal fin while the bloy... do not. Most likly I am wrong but you made me look.

Please tell me that the mystery is totally solved! I haven't been able to sleep since I read this thread.

Some of the little ones I got from you are turning a pretty orange. Have to take them to ACA next year and ask a specialist.

I need to add that oxheart and I have exchanged PM's since the "encounter" and everything is good. He seems like a nice guy.
