Last nite I checked on my pair of albino bushies that I put outside in a 20G on the deck...they were inside one of the caves hanging out instead of roaming around the tank...this morning I checked and the male is fanning a nice glob of eggs...woot woot!

That's great. I got my first last month, but I took a few fry too soon to a different tank and most did not make it. From last week's talk, it seems that it is best to leave them alone for 3 weeks for better chance of survival (my Kribs were snacking on them, hence the moving to a "peaceful" tank).

One reason why I put them outside by temselves - they'll be all alone with all that nice infusoria and algae, and just a few white cloud fry - no rainbow sharks to gobble them up as soon as they leave the cave :)

Update - last night I aimed a flashlight into the cave and saw that the eggs had hatched - now there's a nice mass of squiggling yellow wriggler moustaches all piled up in a corner :)

Another update ... This morning I saw that the fry had been "released" by daddy...have counted 35 so far!
