Well I spent almost 2 years looking for healthy specimen and I am proud to say they that've spawned for the first time today.
They have very good taste in foliage if you ask me. I don't intend to take the eggs. I will see how they do. I am very excited.

I see it. That was pretty quick, didn't you just get them? If they are like their hemichromis cousins, they should be easy to raise with the main worry being aggressive parents.

Wow that was quick. I am on you list for babies... right. BTW, I also have baby sunset honey gourami from the adults you got for me.

That is really awesome man! I think the babies are semi difficult because they are so small, but should not be too bad. Good luck!

Everyone, Thank you for the support.

Ron, Congrats on the sunsets! They are beautiful. 2408
This is a pic of a pair I had before the order. Wish i would have waited. Yours make mine look like potatoes. Of course you are on the list to get some thomasi.

They are getting an upgraded tank this week so hopefully the we will be able to grow out the next spawn. I have 3 pairs and one more flirting with the idea ;)

Put me on the list too, please. I've seen this with jewels, you give someone a pair and they spawn ASAP in a new tank. Moving them seems to trigger a spawn.

How are they defending the eggs? Pretty good, or are they mellow? Most of the spawning articles cover the other race, interested to see if these guys are a lot more aggressive.
