I currently keep a 75g African cichlid tank with peacocks, haps, and some mbuna. I would like to add some simple and easy plants to the tank to add that natural look to it. I don't like the look of my fake plants. I would like the plants to be very low tech, no CO2 or substrate replacement or anything. I currently upgraded my lighting system to the current usa freshwater LED satellite plus system. it produces 30 watts. My substrate is the cichlid crushed coral. My filtration is a Fluval FX6. Is there any plants that are compatible with Africans, my lights and easy to take care of? Thanks for your help and happy new year.

Java ferns and possibly some anubias may hold up to the mbuna. Most other plants would likely be eaten / torn up in short order.

Vallisneria works well in my tank.
