Just bought a pair of agassizii tonight hosting them in a ten gallon till I can move some fish out of my 30 over the weekend but I can't get the female to stop fighting the male she keeps picking at his side then flashing her tail and they have lip locked a few times I tried a good feeding and lights out they seemed to have calmed down please advise

Do what ever you can to break up line of sight. Get some extra plants, spawning mops, rocks, or something in there to define spaces. That will help some and give them a place to hide to get a break if they need to. Upside 3-4" flower pots work great, as long as they're clean and unused. I get them from home stores and knock a small section out of the rim create caves.
