How to Recaulk a Tank in Three Easy Steps (Step 1 Cont'd)

Rating: 2 votes, 5.00 average.
I got a bit more work done tonight than just my previous blog entry so here for your viewing pleasure are some more photos documenting my progress tonight.

In the following pictures you will see the alcohol and water mix and rags I used, and you will also note how thin the caulk is on the upward lines of the tank. It's really no wonder the thing didn't leak sooner!

You will notice that as I got to work on the caulk on the bottom of the tank, I managed to scrape/peel the caulk off in long strips. Provided you scrape correctly, this can be a great time saver!

In the last picture you will notice I have moved the tank from up high on the crates to down on the nice firm level floor. It's not that late and I'm not that tipsy!

On to the last blog entry for tonight (someone please inform me how to insert photos with the appropriate text so I can better illustrate my progress, please.)
